		<description>Hi Robin,

Collard greens are great! Like kale and spinach, collards are a dark leafy green vegetable, this means they are some of the most low-calorie but nutritionally dense of vegetables. Such dark leafy greens are really at the core of the best health benefits of juicing.

As for fruits, lemons and limes are more of a low calorie fruit for juicing, relatively speaking. Simply adding just one apple to green juices is a nice way to sweeten them a little without over doing it.

		<description>Darren,

My doctor told me I need to loose weight. What vegetables are considered a carbohydrate and what fruits should I stay away from because of the high sugar content? I don&#039;t mind having these, but want to juice them in moderation, but still get the nutrients.</description>

		<description>Hi Clarice,

Glad you like out site. You bring up a good question about fruit juice, we should be more moderate about it because of the sugar it contains, but they still contain loads of healthy antioxidants and other nutrients. I wrote an article addressing this http://juicerrecipesnow.com/is-fresh-fruit-juice-bad-for-you/

		<description>Hi there,

these are some tasty recipes! The berry juice is delicious, but I hear that fruit juices may not be as healthy as was once thought. Whats your thought on that?

Thanks for the great site
