You Can Use Green Tea For Weight Loss



Many people don’t realize the countless possibilities that natural herbs and teas offer us. We don’t have to look for prescription drugs for each of our problems, but we can actually get better results with all natural ingredients that come directly from plants. Green tea is one great example of this, and it has been used by the Chinese in their eastern medicine, for thousands of years. Today the western medicine is catching up, and there are more and more scientific studies proving that green tea weight loss works, but also that is has a lot of strong antioxidants that help fight cancer and other serious illnesses.

The biggest problem with green tea for weight loss is that you have to be sure that you are getting a high quality product that has been harvested when fresh, and that it is organic. Most of the plants that aren’t organic, contain pesticides that are potentially harmful – this is the case with coffee and with teas usually. An organic plant will also contain a lot more of the EGCg – Epigallocatechin gallate – which has been shown to be the active ingredient in this tea. Even though it is the part which is causing the weight loss and the health benefits, it can’t be extracted from its source, as it would lose it’s efficiency.

This is why many herbs work great as they are, but once the active ingredients are chemically extracted they are no longer producing results. With berries and teas, the other ingredients also boost and support the working part of the tea, and this makes it more effective to use them in their natural form – like in green tea – instead of capsules and tablets – as in EGCg capsules. Some plants have been shown to actually have more power than prescription medicine!
